Students will present, in writing, the relationship between information and ideas by responding to articles from rss feeds and blogs

Student Instructions and Requirements

  1. Choose an article from the News4u feed.
  2. Read and/or View it.
  3. Summarize the article using the SOAP graphic organizer.
  4. Then write a blog post discussing the article. Use the title of the article and a "linktribution" in the first sentence of your post.
  5. Consider the following questions when posting. These questions are guidelines only. You do not necessarily have to answer all of the questions in your post.

  • Why did you choose the article?
  • What stands out for you?
  • What do you agree with?
  • What do you disagree with?
  • What are your general thoughts concerning this article?
  • How is this article relevant to your life?
  • Why should we care about the article?
  • What else is going on in the news that makes this article relevant?
